When I began my professional career at Adasoft, in 2000, I was still studying 3rd year of Telecommunications Engineering.
I started as an R&D intern and in my second year, after intense learning, I was assigned a project for the implementation of our LIMS system in a pharmaceutical factory in the Dominican Republic.
That was my debut in an international project.
As is usual at Adasoft, over the years I have changed departments and I have learned a lot, both in the different areas of the company and, in my case, in the execution of projects, sales, development and implementation of internal systems. . , finance and marketing and promotion.
And I have not only learned within the company: the factories are full of extraordinary Professionals with whom I have shared experiences and knowledge.
As CEO, my role is to define the strategy and, as CEO, to ensure that we execute it correctly.
I continue to learn and enjoy a lot at Adasoft, because when you surround yourself with the best Professionals in the sector, there is not a day when you do not discover something interesting and challenging.
At Adasoft we believe that all industry professionals should be very proud of what we contribute to the well-being and progress of society.
Because people empower factories.
In the early 2000s, I led the first MES implementation project in Venezuela. It was then when I met, working side by side, the great professionals of Adasoft.
In 2016, after treasuring 15 years of experience implementing MES systems in numerous Food and Beverage factories in LATAM, I started my professional career in Adasoft Spain.
Since then, I have been MES Project Manager, Sales Manager, Operations Director and now, as VP America's, I give on-site support to Adasoft's local offices in America and collaborate in the development of the Company's organic and inorganic growth.
For me, every day always starts with a "Good morning" and a big smile, because being surrounded by great professionals allows us to be optimistic in all circumstances.
I started my professional career in Adasoft in 1999, in the Development team. I was 29 years old, with 8 years of experience as a programmer, and very eager to continue learning and learning and developing myself as a person and as a professional.
Since I was always bothering the rest of the R&D team (always telling jokes and anecdotes), in the anecdotes), the company thought that I had what it took to sell (or, at least, that way I would stop bothering the I would stop bothering the other programmers).
And yes, I spent some time as a salesman, but I was also Bottling project manager, responsible for SPV, I lived in the USA and managed for 3 years the operations of the business in America. I came back to Spain to manage the MES project area, I was Commercial Director and now I am VP of EMEA, currently, I am VP of EMEA.
25 years have passed, I am no longer the young inexperienced person, but I still have as much (or more) enthusiasm as the first day.
Our industry is going through a very sweet time, as the digital transformation of the industry is not a is not a destination, but a long journey.
Building on our origins as creators of industrial software (we developed the first SCADA (we developed the first SCADA, CMMS, BATCH, LIMS and MES that existed in Spain), at Adasoft we are exploiting our expertise of almost 40 years, bringing to the industry all over the world a total integration industry around the world a total integration, both vertically and horizontally, providing consulting, implementation and support.
I joined Adasoft in 2001 and, for more than 20 years, I have had the opportunity to work in different areas, meet great professionals from countless companies and live and work in countries such as Spain, USA and Panama.
This experience has allowed me to gain a global and diverse vision of the technology industry and has helped me to better understand the problems, needs and expectations of our customers globally.
In my current position as Technology VP, I oversee the Company's technology initiatives, ensuring that our Apps2Empower are innovative and effective, and ensuring that our systems and processes are aligned with the objectives of our customers.
Currently, our industry is in a phase of rapid evolution, driven by digitalization and artificial intelligence. In the future, I see an even more interconnected and automated industry, where the key to success will lie in the ability to adapt quickly and in constant innovation.
Our goal is to lead this evolution, staying at the forefront of Industry 4.0 technology trends with solutions that not only solve today's problems and crises, but also anticipate our customers' future needs.
In 1984, Adasoft was born out of the drive of a group of young engineers, myself among them.
The initial idea wasn’t to build a big company, but rather a small office with a good atmosphere and a shared project where people could be happy working hard, surrounded by great colleagues with whom we could also share laughs both inside and outside the office.
To achieve that, we were clear that we needed to surround ourselves with good people, smart, eager to work as a team, and ambitious about moving forward, delivering the best service, and growing.
Back then, Nestlé was our first client. And today, we are proud to say that over the course of more than 40 years, we’ve had the opportunity to work with outstanding professionals in factories on thousands of projects around the world.
Every morning, with my first cup of coffee, I am reminded of something very important: I am deeply passionate about my work and about being part of a great team of professionals with a shared goal.
At Adasoft, I have the opportunity to contribute to the development of strategies that strengthen our presence in international markets. To do this, I focus on identifying opportunities, designing expansion plans, and ensuring that our value proposition reaches clients clearly and effectively.
In my view, collaboration between marketing, sales, and product development teams is essential, and I aim to inspire my team so that every initiative reflects innovation, quality, and commitment to our clients.
I see today’s industry as an environment that demands constant adaptation and learning, as artificial intelligence, advanced data analytics, and human-machine collaboration are transforming the way we work.
But the most important thing for Adasoft continues to be the professionals working on the factory floor, whose talent and dedication make progress and societal well-being possible.
My career at Adasoft began as an Enterprise Operational Systems Manager, a role in which I developed strategic projects that combined innovation, operational efficiency, and a forward-looking vision.
Before joining Adasoft, I gained international experiences that shaped the way I understand business and global management.
During my Master in Global Entrepreneurial Management (MGEM), which I completed in Barcelona, Taipei, and San Francisco, I took part in several consulting projects for companies such as Mira Fertility, Additive Intelligence, and Alcon. I worked on international expansion strategies, market studies, action plans, and financial projections.
These experiences taught me to adapt to multicultural environments, collaborate with diverse teams, and approach challenges from a strategic and global perspective.
My professional background also includes a role as Inside Sales Specialist at Heading2Market, where I strengthened my experience in business development and client relations.
At Adasoft, I continue to build on everything I’ve learned, combining international vision, passion for innovation, and a results-driven approach. I strongly believe in the value of collaboration, trust in teams, and the ability to turn complexity into real and sustainable solutions for our clients.
Today, as Vice President of EOS, I have the opportunity to lead a key area for the company’s evolution and growth.
From a young age, I knew I wanted to pursue something technical, practical, and with a future. I completed a vocational degree in electricity and then two advanced degrees: one in mechatronics and another in automation and robotics. But more than robotics, what truly captivated me was the world of electricity and PLC automation—an area that I found as fascinating as it was promising.
I began my career as a Mechatronics Technician at Alstom, a stage in which I learned the value of precision, discipline, and teamwork. In 2016, I joined Adasoft as an automation technician, later moved up to Head of the 24x7 Automation Support Team—leading a continuous support team—and then took on the role of Support Area Manager, always with the goal of ensuring that teams worked well, grew, and felt comfortable in their daily work.
I enjoy working with motivation, with clear goals, knowing what I want to achieve each day. I’m passionate about helping when challenges arise, sharing my knowledge with my team, and building good relationships with my colleagues.
Today, I live in Florida, United States, and serve as Vice President of Global Services at Adasoft. I lead strategic operations, international sales, and key client relationships, with the satisfaction of being able to apply everything I’ve learned along the way.
Since the start of my professional journey, I have been fascinated by the world of industrial communication and automation systems, particularly in relation to safety (both safety and cybersecurity) and applications for preventive and predictive maintenance.
For some time, I worked as a researcher at the University of Genoa, before starting my professional career by founding a university spin-off, the Genoa Fieldbus Competence Centre (GFCC), a competence center focused on communication networks.
I am currently a member of Technical Committee 65B of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) and participate in the regulatory work of the WG10 subcommittee within IEC65, which focuses on OT cybersecurity to strengthen security and modernize industrial systems.
Today’s industry is characterized by accelerated transformation, driven by digitalization and connectivity. One of the most significant changes is the integration of cyber-physical systems, enabling real-time communication and connection between machines, systems, and people.
In this context, industrial communication, automation, and system interoperability are key. Technologies like Profinet, Profisafe, and industrial cybersecurity standards such as IEC 62443 are essential for ensuring this connectivity is secure and reliable.
Looking to the near future, the trend is moving toward greater autonomy in production systems, with smart factories capable of making real-time, data-driven decisions.
Artificial intelligence and machine learning play a crucial role in optimizing processes and predicting failures before they occur, enabling more advanced preventive and predictive maintenance.
Regarding challenges, cybersecurity is becoming increasingly critical. With the rise of connectivity and the interdependence of systems, industrial networks are more exposed to attacks, necessitating greater investment in cyber protection and adherence to specific regulations.
I’ve always been fascinated by how things work, whether it’s the logic behind a circuit, the elegance of code, or the thrill of driving anything that moves. Electronics was my starting point, but curiosity pulled me into computer science, mechanics, and the sum of all of them: automation.
My career began with high-level programming, but more than 30 years ago I took the leap into industrial and process automation. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of designing and commissioning plants across the globe: steel, energy, oil&gas, food&beverage, pharma. Each project is a new challenge, each culture a new perspective.
Along the way, I’ve worn many hats: from programmer to project manager. Since 2010 I’ve been part of the Genoa Fieldbus Competence Centre, which became Adasoft’s Cybersecurity Center of Excellence for OT networks and cybersecurity in 2024, where I now serve as Operations Manager.
At Adasoft, I’ve found not just a workplace, but a community where growth and collaboration come naturally, thanks to the amazing "bees" around me.
Some people said I sometimes sound more like a philosopher than a technician, because I believe that the most important part of any project, from the first meeting to final acceptance, is the interaction with the client.
Looking ahead, my compass points towards: cybersecurity, AI, and above all, human connections.
My first position at Adasoft, where I arrived in 2013, was in business development in central Spain, where we managed to increase sales and open a new office in Madrid, which now has almost 30 professionals.
Since the beginning of 2024, I am Partner Director of Spain, managing both general and commercial management.
I specialize in implementing Automation and MES/MOM platforms for industries such as pharmaceutical, food and chemical.
My responsibilities range from consulting and management to project execution and direction. I help our clients define and carry out projects to implement solutions that fit their specific challenges and objectives.
I firmly believe that our industry is at a turning point, where innovation and rapid adaptation to new technologies are essential. Looking ahead, I see an increasingly digitized and automated industry, with a growing focus on sustainability and operational efficiency.

My journey began with a technical course in electronics in 1977. Upon completing the course, I wasn't sure which field to work in, and in 1981 I joined Ericsson in the public telephone exchange area. I studied electronics and eventually decided I wanted to work with microprocessors.
At that time, personal computers were starting to appear, so in 1984 I decided to move to Metal Leve/Allen Bradley to work in development with 8085/Z80/68000. It was then that I discovered PLCs. In 1993, Allen Bradley decided to move all development to the USA and closed the department.
I had always wanted to be an entrepreneur, and it was then that I began providing PLC programming services. After a few months, I started FieldBus Automação with Celso Anzai. Initially, it was reasonably easy as there was high demand, and we did everything from programming to commissioning, sales, management, etc. We grew in the automation area, hired employees, and I began to notice the first growth challenges, especially in attracting talent to support that growth.
In mid-1996, Adasoft contacted us. I was surprised by their business proposal because it was very interesting and had innovative products for the time. We started the partnership, and soon I realized that Adasoft was much more than “just” products: they were systems, marketing, technology, talent management, meritocracy, etc. We managed to sell the products to clients like IBM and Coca Cola, but for various reasons, our paths continued separately.
In our case, we rebranded as PeopleTeam because we realized that people make the difference in companies, hence the new company name. Over the years, we expanded our offerings beyond automation to include electrical projects, electrical assemblies, mechanical projects, mechanical manufacturing, IoT projects, and turnkey projects.
Then, after 22 years, perhaps due to reasons only fate can explain, we reconnected with Adasoft and were able to resume our collaboration, now with a powerful new model where synergies are highly productive. We are very determined to make this alliance work: with the merger of LOPAS, we will be able to overcome this stage of the company known as “NO MAN’s LAND.”
Seventeen years ago, I began my career in industrial automation at a small company, a System Integrator. It was there that I started the first phase of my training: working with great professionals, I was able to observe and learn the processes of a company up close.
I held various roles such as apprentice engineer, draftsman, applications engineer, sales support, proposals engineer, and finally, programmer. Besides the purely technical aspects, I realized how much is done and needs to be done in a company to generate revenue, from the micro to the macro level.
A year later, I began my career as a "technical instructor" at Rockwell Automation, where a 26-year-old me was teaching courses to people with 26 years of experience! I had to develop leadership and confidence techniques, not just theoretically but also with the help of great factory professionals and many good people who sometimes walk beside us in life.
At Rockwell Automation, I acquired technical, managerial, and administrative knowledge and prepared myself to take the next step: starting my own company. And so it happened in September 2014, when we laid the first stone of VDA Services. We started in Venezuela, worked in the USA, and established our foundations in Chile.
I continued to meet great professionals, including Chady Abdul (current VP of Adasoft International), which allowed us to join one of the most important technology service companies in the world: Adasoft International. Today, we live in perfect synergy that allows us to offer local service with global experience.
Since 2011, I started in the world of industrial automation, supervising the engineering design of instrumentation and control for the generation of energy from the use of solid waste, an initiative of the Ministry of Mines and Energy in the archipelago of San Andres, Colombia.
Then I was performing migrations of Wonderware software for clients such as AB Inbev in their different breweries in Colombia.
I have also been gaining experience in industries of drinking and waste water treatment through the development of control architecture, detailed engineering and programming of PLCs of different brands such as Rockwell, Siemens and others.
In the year 2019 I decided to undertake independently and this is where Genesys Automation was born, a company through which we have been participating in major projects such as the programming of control systems in order to optimize the process of beer filtration, through a Batch modeling, PLC, and SCADA standardization achieving the implementation of equipment in the filtration area and cellars in automatic.
We have also been integrating Schneider PLCs of the Mx80 series in RIO and DIO node architecture, with standardized programming language in FBD, and finally developing the SCADA applying ISA 101 standard, through the OMI (Operation Management Interface) tool of AVEVA System Platform in version 2020 R2, all for several companies in Colombia.
Genesys is currently a Certified Integrator in the AVEVA portfolio tools. Being recognized in the world of automation has allowed us to create important strategic alliances.
Since 2024 we are part of one of the most important technology services companies in the world: Adasoft International.
Today we can offer local service with global experience and thus continue to contribute to the development of the industry.
I started my professional career in 2007 as an automation engineer. Over the years, I’ve worked in different types of companies: System Integrator, Production Plant, Service Company, and Supplier of automation components. In 2013, I established my own company as a System Integrator.
From being an engineer working in factories, I grew into a managerial role. I’ve gained experience across many sectors: chemical, copper mining, water production, household goods, and automotive.
I brought my versatile experience to Adasoft. This new role will be both an adventure and a challenge for me, but with the help of all the Bees in the hive, I am confident I will succeed!
The future of the industry lies in digitalization, artificial intelligence, and IT/OT network integration. These technologies increase efficiency, enable faster and more accurate decision-making, ensure more flexible and sustainable production, and open up new opportunities for growth.
Being part of this change is a privilege and a constant motivation to keep learning and adding value.
